Will my dog actually use it?
Most dogs catch on fast once there's a treat in the drawer. Start with a high-value treat and short sessions, and praise every scratch.

Does it replace clipping completely?
For front nails, many dogs need little or no clipping once they use it regularly. Back nails and dewclaws usually need a quick touch-up, which is why the LED clipper is included.

Is the sandpaper safe on paw pads?
Dogs scratch with their nails, not their pads. Keep sessions short at first and check paws afterwards, as you would after any new activity.

How often should I replace the sandpaper?
It depends on how often your dog uses it. When the surface feels smooth and stops filing, switch to one of the spare sheets.

How do I choose the engraving?
When you tap Add to cart, a short form asks for your dog's name (and your phone number if you want it) for each tag. English letters and numbers only. Tags are custom-made, so please double-check the spelling.
